• Most recent billing statement or loan balance printout

Letter of Hardship

• Write a letter that shows how educational debt creates financial or social hardship

• Include a short biography about yourself, family, and current and past career

• This website has common examples of student loan hardships

• Please include what you can offer the betterment of the nation or of society once loans are paid

• Nature of the need and reason for the request

• Demonstrated actions that indicates attempts at self help

• Evidence of any other assistance sought by the applicant if any

• Impact of the reimbursement on the applicant, the applicant’s family, and community

• Applicant’s vulnerability to adverse action if not reimbursed

• Willingness of applicant to support the organization

After submitting requested documents we will process your information and let you know your status for enrollment into the program. If we need more information from you we will contact you to let you know what other documentation is needed.
 

Please note: Enrollment does not guarantee loan repayment. Each packet undergoes a final full review by our scholarship selection committee. Any information found to be misleading, omitted and or false, will be denied. Enrollments will be queued in the order in which they were accepted. We will do our best to pay all debts in full before moving to the next Veteran in the queue, but we maintain the right to disburse all funds as we see fit. This will be done to ensure that all Veterans are treated equitably.
